Kids News of the Week: ROVERS ON MARS


NASA's Opportunity Rover (the rover sent to Mars before Curiosity) has just surpassed the record for longest distance traveled by an off-planet vehicle. Opportunity was designed to last for1 kilometer, but it has so far traveled over 40 kilometers! NASA announced this week that it will build another Mars Rover for launch in 2020! Now THAT'S out of this world!
