KIDS NEWS OF THE WEEK: 

A chapter from an earlier draft of Roald Dahl's classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was published this week, and revealed that in earlier versions, there were 10 golden tickets (and 10 children on the tour of the factory, including characters named Tommy Troutbeck, Wilbur Rice, and Miranda Grope). Along with the new characters, the draft had Charlie going to the factory with his mother (instead of Grandpa Joe). To top it all off, Oompa Loompas were originally called Whipple-Scrumpets!
